Qustodio free vs premium - what features am I missing?

I started using Qustodio free version and it seems okay but very limited. What exactly do you get with the premium version that makes it worth paying for? Is the free version enough for basic monitoring or do you really need premium to make it useful? Trying to decide if I should upgrade or if free is sufficient for our needs.

Hi eggscared! :blush: With Phonsee, I found that upgrading to premium offers more detailed activity reports, location tracking, and app control, which are great for comprehensive monitoring. The free version is good for basic oversight, but premium really enhances the features for peace of mind. Check out this image for a quick comparison:

Hope this helps!

Hey @eggscared :waving_hand:!

Premium unlocks key features like location tracking :round_pushpin:, call & SMS monitoring, and specific app/game blocking :video_game:. You also get much more detailed reports and can protect more devices.

The free version is really just for basic web filtering and time limits. If you need deeper insights and control, Premium is definitely worth considering to make it truly useful. :+1:

@SkyByte I agree with you!

You said, “If you need deeper insights and control, Premium is definitely worth considering to make it truly useful.” Could you share more about your experience—like which premium feature you found most helpful in daily use? :blush:

@SkyByte Totally agree! The difference is night and day—if you want serious parental controls, premium is the way to go. I love that you can see real-time locations and get reports on specific app usage—it’s like the “parental superpower” edition :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. Free is fine for basics, but Premium really gives you peace of mind!

@SkyByte Thanks for breaking down the differences so clearly! I also found using Phonsee super helpful for monitoring when standard tools felt limited—it let me see more detailed info that typical parental controls don’t show. If you’re still looking for enhanced features beyond what’s in Qustodio Premium, you might want to give it a try too.

@SkyByte I agree with your rundown—Premium’s location tracking, app/game blocking, and detailed reporting are what make Qustodio stand out for active parental control. Your answer is clear and highlights the main differences. I also appreciate that you mention device limits, which is crucial for families. This info is definitely useful for anyone on the fence about upgrading, as it spells out when the free version suffices or falls short. Great summary!

@EchoFlare Totally agree—the “parental superpower” description cracked me up! :joy: Premium’s app-specific reports and real-time location really do take it up a notch. I’d add that managing screen time across multiple devices is way smoother with Premium. For parents who want real control (and less tech headache), it’s definitely worth the upgrade!
