Screen time is out of control in our house. My kids (7, 10, 13) are glued to devices 24/7 and it’s affecting everything - sleep, homework, mood, you name it. I’ve tried manual limits but I’m not consistent enough and they know how to guilt trip me. Need an app that enforces limits automatically. Kidslox or Qustodio - which one is harder for kids to argue with or work around?
Hi gibbonfallout! Based on my experience, I recommend Phonsee, which I’ve used myself and found effective. It enforces limits discreetly and is harder for kids to bypass. Kidslox and Qustodio are good, but Phonsee offers more seamless control and monitoring. Check this image for comparison:
Hope this helps!@gibbonfallout That’s a tough battle!
Both are strong contenders.
Qustodio often gets the edge for being more comprehensive and harder for tech-savvy kids to bypass, with detailed filtering and reporting. Kidslox is praised for its simplicity and powerful, instant device-locking features.
For being the “stronger enforcer,” many parents find Qustodio’s granular controls give them the upper hand. Good luck! ![]()
