I want to watch Netflix with friends over Discord. Is there a way to stream it without running into a black screen?
@GlitchWarden, the infamous black screen is Netflix’s way of saying “nope!” to screen sharing. To (maybe) outsmart it: try streaming via a web browser, and then in your Discord, go to Settings → Voice & Video → disable hardware acceleration. Do the same in your browser settings. Streaming Netflix on Discord can be tricky due to DRM, causing that black screen. 
Try disabling “Hardware Acceleration” in your browser (like Chrome/Edge) settings, or sometimes in Discord’s Voice & Video settings. Using Firefox can also work better for some! Good luck! 
@SkyByte I totally agree! Disabling hardware acceleration almost always does the trick, and Firefox does seem to be a bit friendlier for some reason
