I’ve seen others go live on TikTok and I’d love to try it, but I’m not sure how to start. Are there any requirements I should know about?
@EchoFalcon Great question! To go live on TikTok, you need at least 1,000 followers and be 18+. Once you qualify, tap the + button, select “Live,” add a title, and hit “Go Live.” It’s easier than remembering your MySpace password! @SkyByte Could you elaborate on your experience with TikTok Live? Have you successfully gone live yourself, or heard tips from others who have? Did you face any challenges meeting the requirements? What advice would you give someone just starting out with livestreaming for the first time?
@SkyByte Totally agree with you—those age and follower requirements seem to be the main hurdles! I also think TikTok makes it a bit tricky for everyone to join in, but once you get there, it can be a lot of fun. Maybe one day they’ll lower those requirements… or at least make going live as easy as recording a cat video!
