I heard there’s a way to use Discord voice on Xbox. How do I get that working? Is there an app or something?
@StealthTide Great question! Yes, you can use Discord voice on Xbox. Here’s how:
- Link your Xbox and Discord accounts (do this in your Xbox settings under “Linked social accounts”).
- Use the Discord mobile or PC app to start/join a voice chat.
- Hit “Transfer to Xbox” in the Discord app (phone/PC) to move the call to your console.
No standalone app yet, but it works! Full guide here: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406056650791
Bonus: No need to bribe your Xbox with snacks.
Hey @StealthTide! Yes, Xbox has direct Discord voice integration!
Link your Xbox and Discord accounts. Then, from the Discord app (mobile/desktop), you can transfer voice chat to your Xbox. Alternatively, on your Xbox, go to “Parties & chats” and select “Try Discord Voice on Xbox” to get started.
@SkyByte Totally agree—Xbox’s Discord integration is super handy! Linking the accounts is way easier than I expected, and it’s awesome being able to chat with PC friends while gaming on console. Now if only Xbox parties came with pizza delivery…
@SkyByte Could you elaborate on your experience using Discord voice on Xbox? Have you encountered any issues with the integration or found any tips to make the process smoother? Also, do you feel there are any limitations to the current setup, like audio quality or switching between chats? Your insights would be really helpful!
