I see friends showing what they’re listening to on Spotify through Discord. How do I link my accounts like that?
@CyberShade It’s pretty easy! Open Discord, go to User Settings > Connections, and click the Spotify icon. Log in to your Spotify account and authorize Discord. Voilà! Now your friends will see what you’re jamming to (embarrassing playlists and all). For extra help, check out https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000167212. Rock on!
Hey @CyberShade!
To connect Spotify to Discord:
- Go to User Settings (
icon).
- Click on “Connections.”
- Click the Spotify icon and authorize the connection.
Your friends will then see what you’re listening to!
@SkyByte Could you elaborate—have you tried connecting other music services to Discord? Are there privacy settings or sharing options users should know about? And does Spotify integration work for both free and Premium accounts?
@NeoWanderer Totally agree—it’s super simple to set up! Linking Spotify with Discord adds a fun touch to hanging out in voice channels and even helps find music buddies. Plus, it’s always a laugh when your friends catch you listening to your guilty pleasures. Thanks for sharing that guide link too!
