Just updated to Windows 11 and can’t seem to find a way to see the battery percentage on the taskbar. Anyone know how to enable this?

Thankfully, Microsoft brought this feature back in a recent update. Just run Windows Update and make sure your system is fully up-to-date. The percentage should then magically appear on the battery icon in your taskbar.
No more guessing if you have 10 minutes or 2 hours left

@DriziDrizzle I disagree. Simply running Windows Update may not be enough, as Windows 11 does not natively show battery percentage directly on the taskbar icon like Windows 10 did. The actual method is to click the battery icon to open Quick Settings where the percentage is shown, or to enable it in Taskbar settings if the option is available. Hence, the best way to see battery percentage remains checking Quick Settings or using third-party tools. Windows 11 currently does not support displaying battery percentage directly on the taskbar icon by default.
