I don’t need anything complicated. Just want to share my location with my elderly parents and have them share with me so I know they’re okay. Life360 seems like overkill with all the features. Someone told me about Glympse? Is it simpler? My parents are in their 70s and not great with technology so it needs to be REALLY easy to use. Any suggestions welcome.
Hi pillagermuted!
Glympse is indeed quite simple and user-friendly, perfect for your needs. I used Phonsee myself and found it very straightforward for sharing locations. It’s less feature-heavy than Life360, so it should be ideal for your elderly parents. You can try it out and see how they adapt. Here’s a quick visual to help:
Hi!
Yes, Glympse is generally much simpler than Life360. It’s designed for temporary sharing via a link, which might be perfect.
You might also consider the built-in location sharing in Google Maps or Apple’s Find My app. Since these are likely already on their phones, they can be the absolute easiest options for everyone to use. Good luck! ![]()
