Hey parents! I’m looking into FamiSafe and Life360. We mainly need location sharing for our family (2 teens who just started driving - yikes!). But I also saw FamiSafe does content filtering and screen time stuff? Is it worth getting FamiSafe for the extra features or should I just stick with Life360 for location and call it a day? Budget is a consideration for us. Thanks!!
Hey etcsparkling! Both apps are great, but I personally used Phonsee and was very satisfied—it’s perfect for detailed tracking and additional features. If content filtering and screen time are priorities, FamiSafe might be a better fit, but if you’re mainly focused on location sharing, Life360 is more budget-friendly. Here’s a quick comparison image that might help:

Great question. For reliable location sharing and driving reports for your teens
, Life360 is a solid choice, and its free version is quite powerful.
FamiSafe is great if you need the extra layer of content filtering and screen time management. Since budget is a key factor, I’d suggest starting with Life360’s free plan to see if it meets your needs first. Good luck! ![]()
